Today your belly is probably still full from turkey and you may be rushing about to the big box retailers. Don’t forget, however, that there is a very special day tomorrow: Small Business Saturday! It is a day to support your local businesses and make a difference in the community in which you live.
Here in Houston, Texas there is an outstanding selection of shops. Today I would like to introduce you to one of them. Located in the vibrant, artistic community of Montrose, on Westheimer Road one of the major thoroughfare’s in the city is Space Montrose. They have been a part of the community since 2010 and give back by supporting products made in the USA.
Their products range from items for the littlest members of your family to the adults. The selection of children’s clothing will defintely have you ooh’ing and ahh’ing. Character’s from Cookie Monster, Wonder Woman and even Mr. T can adorn your little people!
Get ready for Christmas Home Alone style with one of Kevin McCallister’s classic lines!
Need to express a certain sentiment to someone special? You certainly can find a card for that at Space Montrose with their vast, and might I add witty, collection of cards. And these are much more fun than the ones you will find at your local drugstore.
One of the many brands that can be found at Space Montrose is Fine Southern Gentlemen. Their tee’s are made right here in Texas, in Austin. Take a look below and see if you can guess which one I couldn’t leave the shop without purchasing? 😉
When I visit a shop for the first time there are several things I look for. One is great customer service. Two is whether or not the store is well designed. Lastly if the offerings are great products for a fair price. Due to these points I would highly recommend Space Montrose as a must visit shop when in Houston. In addition to all of those things they have cactus with Santa hats! There is nothing not to love about that!
To visit Space Montrose in person they are located at: 1706 Westheimer Road in Houston, Texas.
And if you aren’t able to make it to Houston soon, they can also be found online at Space Montrose.
