What’s not to love about Halloween? Dress up, pumpkins, spooky stories, candy! Did I say free candy? I am so excited that the Halloween season is here that I spent my entire Saturday preparing my home! 

As you can see, I am not so much into the creepy Halloween decor. Glittery, less spooky ghouls are more my speed! Some of my favorite finds have been purchased over the years from Pier 1 the day after Halloween when they were half off. Many trips to Michaels, Target and Marshalls Home Goods have rounded out my collection. 

This boy right here is my constant companion so no doubt he is right beside me helping me design the home. Designing the home for him sometimes also includes finding any random piece of paper that I drop and shredding it. Perhaps he thinks confetti will complement the decor! 

This was my first attempt at doing mesh ribbon wreaths and garland. I was really surprised at how easy it was once I saw how it was done. Tomorrow I will have some beginner tips to DIY!
