I love being introduced to brands that I have not before tried. In this case, LuLaRoe was a company that I heard of but knew very little about. Recently my friend Tara joined the LuLaRoe movement and became one of their fashion retailers. She invited me to try out the products and do a review for the Channelling Dolly readers. Here are my two cents (hint..you can consider me a new fan LuLaRoe):
My very first impression was how soft the fabric was. The LuLaRoe tagline is “Where fashion meets comfort” and I truly found that to be true. I was really impressed with the quality. I could see their pieces being perfect for travel because after wearing the top above all day there was no wrinkling whatsoever.
My name is Heather and I am a sucker for a cute retro print. I love that the style and color of this top would have fit as perfectly in the 70’s as it does now. One cool thing about LuLaRoe is that each print is produced in runs as limited as 2,500 pieces which will make it unhighly likely that many will have the exact same item as you have. LuLaRoe can not be purchased at a department store or boutique and are sold solely by their independent consultants, like brands such as Mary Kay. 
For this top, I decided to style it over a dress to show off the fringe trim at the bottom. This could just as easily be thrown on over a tank with a pair of jeans for a completely different look. They really are versatile. This particular day since I was seriously feeling Stevie Nicks I decided to also pair it with a big hat!

LuLaRoe is most often sold in Facebook pop-up parties. My weekly sale takes place on Monday nights, 7 pm CST, in my VIP group on Facebook. This means you have to be on Facebook and you must ask to join my page. I will uploads photos of the items available to the Facebook group, answers questions, and offer assistance. Buyers stake their claim to a desired item by commenting “sold” on its photo and then receive an email invoice from Audrey, LuLaRoe’s proprietary payment processing service. All of your payment information is processed through a secure site and I will not have access to that sensitive information. Win-win for everyone! Once the invoice is paid we will ship you all of your goodies!
LuLaRoe also includes an at-home component. The at-home parties offer a distinct advantage for new LuLaRoe customers, who can’t try on the items they want before buying. Hosting an in-home pop-up is also a great way to “try before you buy”. I offer hostesses one free item for hosting a party and an additional free item for every ten items sold during the party. I also offer the same for hostesses not local to me, by booking online parties on Facebook.

I have heard of Lularoe before as well but haven’t tried any of their products. I’ve been pretty curious though because it seems to be the talk of the town. Now I know why.

I have always been a little nervous to try them, they seem really expensive to me. But I have heard so many good things about them.
I know if you have a party many times you can get a free item if you sell so many! That could be an option for you if you wanted to try them out! If you were ever interested I believe you can do them online too!

I love Lula Roe, but just can’t seem to pay that kind of price for those pieces. I did find a legging on Amazon called Viv, that is super similar, same buttery soft, and thickness.
Those sound very nice!! I know if you do a party for LuLaRoe you can sometimes get an item if you sell a certain amount. That might be an option as well if you ever wanted to look into that. I did a Premiere Jewelry party once and got so many things for free that I would never have been able to buy all at once!
